The Columbia Law School Chapter of the American Constitution Society will host Robert Tsai for a talk about his new book Demand the Impossible. Tsai will discuss the book's focus on attorney Stephen Bright, former head of the Southern Center for Human Rights who argued in defense of incarcerated people in the Supreme Court. Columbia Law School Professor David Pozen will moderate.

Project 2025 Rebuttal - Protecting Independence in Governance
During this event, our expert panel will examine two of Project 2025's major policies that threaten independence in governance with partisan conflict:
1) The Reclassification of Schedule F employees, and 2) Changes to the DOJ, especially those which threaten prosecutorial discretion
The discussion will rotate between experts in constitutional law, admin law, and criminal prosecution, examining why public interest and justice, rather than partisan interests, should be the guiding star for government lawyers.
