Nearly a year has passed since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, an event that stunned the nation and brought renewed urgency to racial justice movements. Now former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has been found guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in Mr. Floyd’s death. What will this verdict bring in its wake? Join the Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Notre Dame ACS Student Chapter, and several other campus organizations as we seek to answer this question.
