Pima County Recorder, Gabriella Cázares-Kelly, the first Indigenous person to be elected to a county-wide position, will join the University of Arizona Law ACS and the Native American Law Students Association Chapters virtually for a conversation about her journey to being elected, her experience since taking office, how the law impacts Indigenous folks, and recent voting rights legislation in Arizona. The conversation and Q&A and will be moderated by Professor Heather Whiteman Runs Him from the UA College of Law.
