A Conversation with Gabriella Cázares-Kelly

The University of Arizona Law’s Native American Law Students Association and ACS Student Chapter are proud to welcome Pima County Recorder, Gabriella Cázares-Kelly, the first Indigenous person to hold elected office in the county. Gabriella will join us to discuss her life, what led her to run for office, what she has experienced while in office, how the law impacts indigenous folks, and recent voting rights legislation. For this event we are proud to have Professor Heather Whiteman Runs Him from the University of Arizona to moderate the discussion.
