On March 4, the Supreme Court heard oral argument in June Medical Services, LLC v. Russo regarding the legality of a Louisiana law that imposes onerous restrictions on abortion providers and would force most abortion clinics in the state to close. In light of the argument, join the ACS New York Lawyer Chapter, the ACS NYU School of Law Student Chapter, the Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Network, If/When/How, the NYU School of Law Law Women, the NYU School of Law Supreme Court Forum, and the NYU School of Law Women of Color Collective for a panel that will highlight intersectional perspectives on how abortion access affects individuals across the socio-economic and racial spectrum, as well as the implications of the Court's decision in this case for the future of legal abortion.
