ACS Nashville: Voting with Conviction: Voting Rights Restoration in Tennessee and Beyond

In November 2018, a ballot initiative to restore voting rights to Floridians with a felony conviction passed in a 65-35 landslide. But today in Tennessee, more than 420,000 individuals with a past conviction are barred from the ballot box -- a higher rate than nearly every other state.
