ACS Minnesota Presents: What Can Minnesota Do About Gun Violence?

What can advocates, lawmakers, lawyers, and legal experts do now to reduce gun violence in Minnesota?

Join the ACS Minnesota Lawyer Chapter and the University of Minnesota Law School ACS Student Chapter for a forward-looking conversation about the paths available to advance gun-safety reform in Minnesota. Bringing together perspectives from litigation, the Legislature, and community advocacy, the panel will examine where opportunities for meaningful action exist, what obstacles remain, and how lawyers and advocates can help move reform forward.

Panelists will discuss how litigation and legal expertise can shape gun violence prevention, what policies could support that work and how they might move through the Minnesota legislature, and how advocacy and community organizing can build support and momentum for change.
