ACS Georgia: A Violation of Prosecutorial Discretion? Litigating Georgia's New DA Oversight Panel

Please join the Georgia Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society and the Georgia Judicial Pipeline Task Force for a panel discussion on Georgia's New DA Oversight Panel, the Georgia Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission. Panelists will discuss the impetus for the new oversight body in the Georgia General Assembly, what impact the panel has already had on Georgia's District Attorneys, whether the panel violates the separation of powers under Georgia's Constitution, and the legal challenge the statute is currently facing in Georgia courts.
