NYU Law - A Conversation with Megan Ceronsky on Energy & Environmental Law and Policy
Join the ACS NYU Law Student Chapter for a conversation with Megan Ceronsky on energy and environmental law and policy.
Megan Ceronsky has been practicing environmental and energy law and policy, with a focus on federal climate change policy, for more than 15 years. As Senior Counsel and Special Assistant to the President for the Biden Administration, Megan served as the lead lawyer in the White House on environmental, conservation, and energy issues. In 2017 she founded the Center for Applied Environmental Law and Policy, where she led a small, high-capacity legal team dedicated to strengthening the defense of federal climate policies and supporting the development of new state and federal pollution mitigation policies. Previously, Megan served in both the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change and the White House Counsel’s Office during the Obama Administration. Prior to her government service she worked at Environmental Defense Fund as Director of Regulatory Policy and Senior Attorney and at Van Ness Feldman as an associate. Megan clerked for the Honorable Blane Michael on the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. Please RSVP here for this event.
This event is presented jointly with the NYU Environmental Law Society.
