Progressive Federalism Through the Lens of Trademark Law

We will be using trademark law as the vehicle for discussing federalism in the context of how the federal government can impress federal policies upon entities lawfully incorporated on the state level (through the lens of the cannabis industry). Currently, we have Prof. Reid Wilson (head of Limited Brands’ IP division), Gregory Krabacher (Chair of IP at Bricker), Chris Nani (who founded a Cannabis consulting company), and tentatively Robert Morgan (who is the Director of IP for Scotts Miracle-Gro) slated for the event.

We expect around 70 attendees and will be partnering with the Intellectual Property Law Society here at Moritz College of Law.
