On Thursday, July 7th, ACS, Progress 2050 at the Center for American Progress (CAP), and Open Society Foundations (OSF) hosted Wes Moore, author of New York Times best seller, The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates, and Michel Martin, host of NPR’s Tell Me More, for a conversation about the various themes central to The Other Wes Moore.
The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates has been used to engage national dialogue on issues that include education, poverty, race, and crime. Our nation’s pursuit of justice and equality in these realms were explored in a thoughtful, one-on-one interview of Wes Moore by Michel Martin in front of a live audience. This audience included leading elected officials, policy experts, practitioners, and academics who will also have an opportunity to contribute to the dialogue.
