ACS Minneapolis-St. Paul: Luminary Luncheon with Minnesota Court of Appeals Judge Jon Schmidt
The American Constitution Society (ACS) Minneapolis-St. Paul Lawyer Chapter is pleased to announce that the next Legal Luminary Luncheon will feature the Honorable Jon Schmidt of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. ACS’s Legal Luminary Luncheon series provides an exclusive opportunity for ACS members to dialogue with and learn from leaders in the Twin Cities legal and policy community. The luncheons generally are attended by approximately ten to fifteen members.
Due to the high demand and limited space availability of these luncheons, please let Rory Collins (rory.collins@faegredrinker.com) and Ashley Repp (repp.ashley@dorsey.com) know if you RSVP and are unable to attend. You must be current on your ACS dues to attend this event. If you would like to join, here is a link to the ACS membership website.
Judge Schmidt was appointed by Governor Walz in September 2023. Before being appointed to the bench, Judge Schmidt was a principal attorney at the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, a shareholder at Briggs and Morgan and former Board Member of the ACS Minneapolis-St. Paul Lawyer Chapter. He is a past chair of the MSBA Appellate Section and established a pro bono program in which private attorneys represent indigent clients on behalf of the Minnesota Public Defenders’ Office.
