Join ACS Drake as we host a Criminal Law Professor for a discussion of the Schmidt decision- Appel was a part of that--that established a claim of actual innocence as due process for post-conviction claims.

El Derecho a lo Común

The event will be a presentation of Prof. Érika Fontánez Torres' new book "El derecho a lo común: bienes comunes, propiedad y justicia climática." There will be a commentary by Prof. Pedro Saade, Prof. Luis E. Rodríguez and student Víctor Burgos Díaz. Afterwards we will open the floor to questions and possibly conversation with attendees. It will be a brown bag lunch event with pizza.

1L Writing Competition Training for 1L Reps

We will be holding an exclusive ACS Writing Competition Training led by Carson and Yuan this Thursday, April 18th, at 12PM. The event will be an opportunity to hear some tips and best practices for taking the writing comp as well as ask any questions you have. The room is Tanenbaum 320.
