The panelists will be discussing several recent decisions addressing the power of administrative agencies; statutory interpretation decisions, including those concerning Title VII and the Federal Arbitration Act; the interaction between the First Amendment and social media platforms; cases affecting the scope of state authority, including with respect to homelessness and the Takings Clause; and decisions reflecting the Supreme Court’s evolving approach to the use of history in answering questions of federal law.
