Tabling event providing Coffee, Constitutions, and Conversation. We plan to provide an interactive element for students, staff, and professors to interact and discuss their favorite constitutional amendments and interpretations. In the days before we plan to distribute "constitutional bingo" cards for students to play and return at the tabling event.

Constitution Day and Intro Meeting with Minnesota Law ACS!
Join ACS @ "The U" for an Introductory Meeting and a Celebration of Constitution Day!
Constitution Day is celebrated on September 17th each year in the United States to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution by delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia in 1787. It's also known as Citizenship Day. The day serves to honor the document that outlines the fundamental laws and rights of the nation and to acknowledge the importance of U.S. citizenship.

More about ACS:
The American Constitution Society (ACS) is a progressive legal organization focused on ensuring the law serves as a force for democracy, public interest, and improving people's lives. It aims to realize the promises of the Constitution by building a diverse legal community dedicated to defending democracy, equity, liberty, access to justice, and the rule of law. ACS has a large network of student and lawyer chapters across the United States and works to shape debates on key legal and public policy issues.
The mission of ACS is to support and advocate for laws and legal systems that redress the founding failures of our Constitution, strengthen our democratic legitimacy, uphold the rule of law, and realize the promise of equality for all, including people of color, women, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, and other historically excluded communities.

Constitution Day Celebration: The Montana Constitution Roadshow
Upper Seven Law, the Friends of the Montana Constitution, and Model United Nations presents:
The Montana Constitution Roadshow
Presented by Rylee Sommers-Flanagan, the Montana Constitution Roadshow explores the fascinating story of our state's foundational document. As Montana Law Professor Constance Van Kley has described it, the Montana Constitution is "unique to Montana and uniquely Montanan," reflecting "the state's natural beauty, its libertarian streak, and its trust in the citizenry."
