Torts - Beyond the Doctrine

In tort law, individuals are supposed to be judged for what they do—not who they are. But the persistence of "wrongdoer plaintiff" doctrines threatens to subvert this foundational principle, along with other basic assumptions of tort law. Join Stanford ACS for a lunch talk with Professor Nora Engstrom and Professor Robert Rabin as they explore these doctrines and their consequences in the real world.

Executive Board Meeting

We had our October executive board meeting to discuss upcoming events. We also met with a member of the Pittsburgh Legal Diversity & Inclusion Coalition to discuss opportunities for future events and more engagement from lawyers who wish to be more involved with our chapter.

Coffee with Judge Stephen Locher

A small group of ACS students will join Judge Stephen Locher for a small group chat about Judge Locher’s path to the bench and some of the big decisions he’s had to make while there.
