An Argument for Unsigned, Shortened Supreme Court Opinions
ACS will host Professor Meg Penrose, who will propose certain changes to how Supreme Court opinions are written in an attempt to re-legitimize the Court.
ACS Supreme Court Term Preview Panel
Mitchell Hamline's ACS chapter is hosting a U.S. Supreme Court Fall Term Preview Panel featuring Professors Mike Steenson, Raleigh Levine, Peter Larsen, and Jessica West. The panel will explore key cases the Court will hear this term, including topics such as the First Amendment, IQ testing and the death penalty, and transgender student-athletes. An Argument for Unsigned Shortened Supreme Court Opinions
The NDLS Chapter will host Professor Meg Penrose of Texas A&M for a discussion of her published law review article on the celebrity status of the Supreme Court justices as well as an article update that she is hoping to publish next year.
SCOTUS Term Review
NIU ACS will be holding a SCOTUS Term Review. Professors will be giving a short presentation on SCOTUS cases from the previous SCOTUS Term. Food will be provided and all are welcome.
