Zealous Advocacy: Public Defense Outside the Courts

Hechinger was a longtime public defender and served as the Director of Policy at the Brooklyn Defender Services before founding Zealous, an organization dedicated to training and supporting local defenders in order to shrink and improve legal systems using innovative policy, new media advocacy, and storytelling strategies.
