"What Is ACS?"

Jerome Greene Hall, Room 105, New York City, New York

Description from ACS National: “What is ACS” Webinar on September 6 at 12:00 p.m. CT and 12:00 p.m. ET. ACS is helping our ACS chapters with a coordinated “What is ACS Program” on September 6 at 12pm CT and 12pm ET. ACS Student Chapters can zoom into this webinar where we’ll chat about ACS’s history and mission, recent accomplishments, career resources, ways to engage, etc. The program should last from 12-12:35 pm CT and ET, which leaves local student chapters 25 minutes to engage locally. We recommend that chapters reserve a room on campus, advertise the event, request funds for food for the program (using the process described here), livestream the first 35 minutes of the program, and then be prepared to take over the last 25 minutes of the program to chat about your plans for the 22-23 year. Invite your Faculty Advisor and a local Lawyer Chapter Leader to also present about your local ACS Network. RSVP for the 12:00 p.m. ET time here. RSVP for the 12:00 p.m. CT time here. PT date and time forthcoming.

CLS will be hosting an in-person webinar-viewing event. Featured speakers will include our chapter board members and faculty adviser, Gillian Metzger. We are expecting 20-30 students to attend. Lunch will be provided.
