Voter Week

The SMU Dedman School of Law ACS Chapter will be hosting a tabling event Monday 9/17 - Thursday 9/20 from 10:30AM-2PM each day regarding voter education and registration. On 9/17 we plan on solely focusing on voter education. This will be a non-partisan education only about the voter registration process. People can (1) learn about registration deadlines, (2) figure out what districts they’ll be voting in, and (3) check to see if they’re registered to vote. We will also be having a competition element with the 1L class. Whichever 1L class with the most people to check their voter registration gets donuts/bagels before class. 

Then, 9/18-9/20 will be voter registration days. We will have voter registrars come in from off campus to help register people to vote. We plan on having 1-2 registrars during this time.
