UChicago Law - A Conversation with Richard Cordray

Join the ACS UChicago Student Chapter for lunch and a conversation with Richard Cordray, former Ohio Attorney General, first Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and former Chief Operating Officer of Federal Student Aid. Mr. Cordray will discuss what it takes to build a federal agency from scratch, the legal and political fights over the CFPB's structure and authority, and the future of consumer protection at both the federal and state levels amid ongoing debates over the administrative state.
