The State of Civil Asset Forfeiture

Join the ACS Stanford Law Student Chapter as we welcome, Wesley Hottot, of the Institute for Justice, for a conversation on civil asset forfeiture and its advocacy at the Supreme Court. This event will discuss the history of asset forfeiture, the status of asset forfeiture following the landmark ruling in Timbs v. Indiana, and avenues for further reform. Following these remarks, there will be a short Q&A session.
