The Impact of Dobbs: What the SCOTUS Decision means for all Kentuckians

University of Kentucky Law Building, Lexington, Kentucky

This event will include a panelist of professional speakers including the former general counsel for planned parenthood, an immigration attorney, a law school professor, and others who will present about how the recent Dobbs decision will impact marginalized communities, including Hispanic and undocumented women, trans people, black women, and women in poverty. After the presentations, there will be a time for questions from the audience. The goal of this event is to spread awareness about how the Dobbs decision will negatively impact the most vulnerable people in our community and will serve as an opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of how the Supreme Court reaches its decisions, and how those decisions impact real people.
