Texas Law - 2026 SCOTUS Review

This event involves a panel of Texas Law professors summarizing and analyzing major decisions from the latest U.S. Supreme Court term. After providing their case recaps, the professors will take questions from the audience.

The panel will be moderated by Professor Lisa Eskow (Co-Director of the Texas Law Supreme Court Litigation Clinic). The panelists will include Professor Tara Grove, Professor Lucas Powe, Professor Elizabeth Sepper, and, potentially, Professor William Forbath (invitation pending). The panelists will address the following cases: Chatrie v. United States, NRSC v. FEC, Trump v. Barbara, West Virginia v. B.P.J., and Trump v. Slaughter. 

The event will take place in Townes 2.137, which has a 135-person capacity. Lunch will be provided. Attendees will be asked to sign-in at the event, but they are not required to RSVP in advance.
