Racism in the Law: Race and Tax

Zoom

The Arizona State Law ACS Student Chapter is kicking off our ACS' event series that will address the intersection of racism and the law with a discussion about the federal tax code. Professor Erin Scharff and Professor Jeremy Bearer-Friend (GW Law) will be leading a discussion about how racial discrimination is written into the federal tax code. This will be an interactive event where students will be broken up into breakout rooms to discuss these laws and what steps can be taken to address this discrimination. Keep an eye out on the Daily Disclosure for the Zoom link and short articles on this topic that you can skim before the event.
