Privacy and Law in the Modern Age

University of Pennsylvania Law School, Philadelphia, PA

Join us on March 25, 2022, an in-person event at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School for a full-day conference on privacy. The event is brought to you by the American Constitution Society law school chapters at Drexel University, the University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers University, Temple University, and Villanova University.

We’re excited to announce Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) as a featured speaker, as well as many distinguished experts and practitioners. Even more speakers will be announced shortly!

Panels will cover a wide range of topics in privacy, from data privacy litigation, to privacy in the workplace, to the future of reproductive rights. Medical mandates against the backdrop of COVID-19 will also be highlighted.

We ask that attendees register for panels in advance at this link here: https://forms.gle/9VSDx76uQm8YNgor6

Students! Your $5 ticket includes: Light breakfast, lunch, coffee, and at least one drink ticket at cocktail hour, as well as access to the full day of programming. However, we don't want to exclude anyone from this conference - if the ticket price presents an issue, please use the promo code "Waiver" to receive one of a limited set of fee-waived tickets. Please do this in good faith - we want people who need the fee-waived tickets to be able to access them.

Lawyers and other guests! Your $20 ticket includes: Light breakfast, lunch, coffee, and at least one drink ticket at cocktail hour, as well as access to the full day of programming. CLE credit will be provided through Penn Law through an additional registration fee (see more info below).

This event is co-sponsored by Penn Law’s Center for Technology, Innovation and Competition. Further support provided by the Health Law and Policy pro bono organization.

We also want to thank our sponsors, the law firms Ballard Spahr and Saul Ewing, for their generous support.
