Poll Watching Training

Drexel Law Legal Research Center, Philadelphia, PA

Students signing up for this project will be required to complete a training prior to November 6, 2018. There will be a two-hour training on Monday October 29th from 12-2pm at Drexel Law’s Legal Research Center (3320 Market St). Students are encouraged to attend the live training, but a webinar will be available to those with scheduling conflicts. To participate in training and service, sign up via protectthevote.net. Please make sure you sign up in the top right corner under the text “Join Us” and NOT the red link which says “Attorneys, paralegals, and law students click...” Please sign our Google Doc to walk over to Drexel from the Law school/receive further updates. This isn’t a substitute for signing up on the ProtectTheVote website above. If you would like to participate in this opportunity, you must sign up on the Google Doc ANDprotectthevote.net. On November 6, 2018, students are required to commit to monitoring a polling location. All-day placements outside the polling location are preferred, but will accommodate half-day shifts as needed. Transportation to and from the polling site will not be provided. Project oversight will be provided by Jamie Mogil, Elections Protection Director for Common Cause Pennsylvania.
