Join the American Constitution Society and Women of Color to discuss the historical context and contemporary significance of Christine Blasey Ford's allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Prof. Coughlin will address parallels to Anita Hill's allegations against Justice Thomas and what we can learn from the response to Hill's testimony during the Thomas confirmation hearings. Prof. Ferzan will talk about the importance of Dr. Blasey's allegations in assessing Judge Kavanaugh's fitness and what factors and biases might impact that analysis.
