Fighting Voter Suppression in 2018 and Beyond

How did alleged voter suppression tactics affect the 2018 election? How did challenges to such tactics play out in the courts? What are the legal and policy strategies to protect the right to vote going forward?

The Black Law Students Association is thrilled to welcome Bruce Spriva and Sara Tindall Ghazal to share their perspectives on these critical questions and more. Mr Spiva is a leading voting rights litigator and a partner in Perkins Coie’s Political Law Practice Group. Ms. Ghazal is the voter protection director of the Georgia Democratic Party.
