Empathetic Lawyering and Self Care

Our professional speakers will give advice and coping mechanisms to students currently working, or planning to work in the future, with traumatized populations, i.e. public defenders, juvenile defense, immigration lawyers, parole and re-retry work. Our speaker will be Jennifer Scott, PhD, LMSW, Assistant Professor at the school at the LSU School of Social Work and a representative from STAR.
