Disability Action Series: Equal Access to Voting

With 2019 local elections on Nov. 5, a momentous presidential election in 2020, and recently implemented early voting and other measures in New York, it is an important time for voting rights. Please join DALSA and ACS for lunch as we host two attorneys from Disabilty Rights NY, Christy Asbee, and NYU Law alum Amanda Pearlstein, to talk about their work to ensure voting accessibility for people with disabilities in NY. We will also hear from Conor Duffy at the NY AG's Civil Rights Bureau about work at the state level to ensure voting access.
