Dinner Table Discussion on the Intersection of Racism, Gender, LGBTQIA+ and the Law

Please join the NYU ACS Student Chapter on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 for a Dinner Table Discussion about the intersection of racism, gender, LGBTQIA+ issues, and the law. This conversation will be led by Professor Shirley Lin, an Acting Assistant Professor of Lawyering. Her research focuses on sex and disability discrimination, the rights of LGBTQIA+ workers, legal theory, and organizational theory.

Professor Shirley Lin will assign a couple articles related to race, gender, and LGBTQIA+ identity to help registrants ground their discussion. No background knowledge is required. This is a wonderful opportunity to discuss these important issues with a NYU Law faculty member.
