Defund to Abolish, NYU Review of Law and Social Change 2021 Colloquium

Mark your calendars for the NYU Review of Law and Social Change’s Defund to Abolish Colloquium, February 9 + 10, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM ET. Join community organizers, legal practitioners, and activist scholars to unpack and explore strategies to defund and abolish the police and engage with the imaginative possibilities of a police-free world. 

There will be four panels that explore the theory and practice of defunding the police. Additionally, live captioning and interpretation into American Sign Language and Spanish will be offered, as well as up to 5.5 NY State CLE credits in the Areas of Professional Practice (appropriate for newly admitted and experienced attorneys).
