Celebrating Democracy

Take the eve of 5/15 to kick back, laugh a lot, and enjoy some great food before finals kick in with the Stanford Law ACS Student Chapter for a celebration of the origins of democracy! Although Socrates will be our trivia host, you won’t need to prep for any Socratic dialogue—you’ll just need a decent lie detector to figure out what separates truth from fake news about ancient Greece, the birthplace of classical democracy. BUT…was it also the birthplace of cheesecake? Or of the middle finger gesture? For the answer to those questions and many more, you will have to come see for yourself.
