Casting and Counting: Challenges to Voting Rights and Election Integrity

Please join ACS and ELA in welcoming Prof. Michael Kang, Northwestern Law professor and expert on campaign finance and voting rights, and Ami Gandhi, Senior Counsel at the Chicago Lawyers Committee on Civil Rights, for a conversation on how votes will be cast and counted in the next elections.

We need at least two things for a successful election: for eligible voters to exercise their rights, and for the election results to be counted and respected. We look forward to hearing from Professor Kang and Ami Gandhi about potential issues in the upcoming 2022 and 2024 elections and what we can do to protect voting rights as the election law landscape changes.
