*CANCELLED* ACS Bay Area: Constitution in the Classroom (4/1 Training Session)

Golden Gate University, Room 3201, San Francisco, CA

This spring, the Bay Area Lawyer Chapter will be volunteering at local schools from April 20, 2020 to May 1, 2020 as part of the Constitution in the Classroom program. Please consider joining us in spending an hour or two discussing the Constitution with students. First-time volunteers should join us for this brief training session. Returning volunteers are always welcome and will receive an email in mid-March about specific opportunities.

What is Constitution in the Classroom?

Constitution in the Classroom brings ACS members into primary and secondary classrooms to raise awareness of fundamental constitutional principles. By spending as little as one-hour teaching in a local classroom, you can excite young minds about their constitutional rights and responsibilities. For additional information on this volunteer opportunity, please see https://www.acslaw.org/get-involved/volunteer-opportunities/constitution-in-the-classroom/

Who can get involved with CITC?

We strongly encourage all lawyers and law students to volunteer with ACS in our CITC program to teach local school kids about the importance of the Constitution.

Participants may attend by phone. Please RSVP below and we will email you with dial-in information as April 1 approaches.
