Bystander Intervention Training

One of our very own students, Sarah Watson, has bystander intervention training and has graciously offered to share her expertise with anyone who may be interested. Bystander intervention is intended to teach people how to safely intervene when they witness harassment. A big issue in higher education is sexual harassment, particularly at events where alcohol is involved. With the SBA Halloween party coming up, I think it's especially important to empower students to address instances of sexual harassment they may witness. 

This training is in connection with the Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice and is also being supported by other student organizations.
