The Birmingham Committee for Truth and Reconciliation is hosting "An Evening with Angela Davis" in Birmingham, her hometown, on Saturday, February 16th at 8:00 PM CST. It is an opportunity to honor and recognize Dr. Davis' work as an international freedom fighter and renowned scholar. Dr. Imani Perry of Princeton University will be the discussant/interviewer for the event. We will be hearing Dr. Davis' life story and accomplishments in her own words.
