ACS Washington, DC: Constitution in the Classroom

Volunteer to Teach DC Public School Students about the U.S Constitution on Constitution Day!

The DC Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society is thrilled to announce that it will once again be placing volunteer attorneys in public school classrooms this fall as part of the ACS Constitution in the Classroom (CITC) program. ACS will be sending attorneys and law students to schools in the DC area on September 14, 17, and 18 to teach lessons on the Constitution, and we would love for you to be a part of this wonderful opportunity. ACS will provide lessons that are fun, relevant, and age appropriate, but volunteers are free to teach their own lessons so long as they follow the theme for this year, which is Separation of Powers.
