ACS Washington, DC: CITC Volunteer Appreciation Night
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to sign up to be a part of this round of Constitution in the Classroom! Each year we are amazed by the number of volunteers who give up their time to teach DC public school students about the foundations of our constitution, and this year is no different. This fall, the DC Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society placed roughly 50 law students and attorneys in over two dozen schools, touching the lives of over 500 hundred students!
To celebrate these achievements, the CITC Committee would like to invite you to an informal reception, regardless of whether you were able to ultimately participate, at the George Washington University Law School (2000 H St NW, Washington, DC 20052) on Thursday, October 10th at 6:30 PM in Room LL101. This event will provide an opportunity for teachers and volunteers to get to know one another, share stories of their experiences, and provide us with feedback on the program. Light refreshments and food will be served.
To confirm your attendance, please RSVP via this link by October 6th at 5:00PM.
