ACS Presents... Voting Rights in 2026

Join the American Constitution Society (ACS) Georgia State Student Chapter for “Voting Rights in 2026” on Tuesday, October 27, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in Room 341. This event will feature guest speakers from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), including Carlos Andino, Senior Staff Attorney for Democracy and Voting Rights Litigation, and Brian Nunez, Senior Policy Associate for Georgia.

The panelists will discuss current voting rights issues, ongoing legal challenges, and the role of litigation and policy advocacy in protecting voting rights ahead of the 2026 elections. Students will have the opportunity to hear from experienced professionals, ask questions, and gain insight into the practical application of constitutional law and voting rights advocacy. Lunch will be provided.
