ACS Presents: Diversity in Law Schools with Justice Goodwin Liu
Justice Goodwin Liu is an Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court and has served since 2011. Before being nominated by Governor Jerry Brown, Justice Liu was a Professor of Law and Associate Dean at UC Berkeley School of Law. Justice Liu received his J.D. from Yale Law School before clerking for Judge David Tatel (UChicago Law '66) on the D.C. Circuit and for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He has also worked in the U.S. Department of Education. Justice Liu continues to teach courses in constitutional law at Harvard Law School.
