ACS Oregon & Washington State LC: February Case Discussion

Please join the ACS Oregon and Washington State Lawyer Chapters for their monthly interactive discussion group with other local progressive lawyers about cases of regional or national significance. This month we will be discussing the Washington Supreme Court's decision earlier this month in Washington Food Industry Association v. City of Seattle. This fractured, and troubling, decision allowing certain constitutional claims against the Seattle's hazard pay ordinance for food delivery drivers to survive a motion to dismiss is important in how it may prevent Washington's governments from legislating for the common good in the future.
