A Conversation with the Honorable Lina Hidalgo

The Stanford ACS Student Chapter is proud to welcome Harris County Judge and Stanford alumna Hon. Lina Hidalgo, who will talk about her unique position as the chief executive in Harris Co, Texas, spanning judicial / legislative / executive functions.

Hidalgo will address her role in facilitating COVID-19 responses (requiring masks in April 2020) and keeping voting accessible (e.g. with drive-in voting & fighting litigation from those seeking to shut down drop boxes) leading to the highest early voter turnout ever in Harris Co.
