A Conversation with North Carolina Solicitor General Ryan Park

ACS is hosting a conversation with North Carolina Solicitor General Ryan Park. He will share his career path with the students including his two clerkships with the Supreme Court and his role as the Solicitor General of North Carolina. He will also talk specifically about his work on some of the most important cases including Moore v. Harper and Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. University of North Carolina.

As Solicitor General, Ryan Park oversees North Carolina's civil appellate litigation and advises state Attorney General on legal policy and constitutional issues.

Solicitor General Park has previously practiced at a national law firm, worked as an attorney-adviser at the U.S. Department of State, and clerked for Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and David Souter, Judge Robert A. Katzmann on the Second Circuit and Judge Jed S. Rakoff on the Southern District of New York. He graduated summa cum laude from Harvard Law School and with distinction from Amherst College, and has worked in South Korea on a Fulbright Fellowship
