A Conversation with Judge Shahabuddeen Ally

As the first Muslim male judge elected in New York State, Manhattan Civil Court Judge Shahabuddeen (Shah) Ally will share his journey from Guyana, South America, to the Bronx, to a legal career in public service. Judge Ally has worked at the Administration for Children's Services, the New York City Law Department, and as a public defender in Family and Criminal Courts, among other positions. He is also the Chairman of Manhattan Community Board 12 (Washington Heights and Inwood). 

Dinner will be provided at this informal conversation with Judge Ally hosted by the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and the American Constitution Society, co-sponsored by the Latinx Law Students Association.
