A Conversation with CREW's Nikhel Sus

UC Law SF Campus, Building 333, Room 201, San Francisco, CA

On March 26th, we'll be joined by Nikhel Sus, Director of Strategic Litigation for Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) for a discussion and Q&A about his experience litigating on behalf of Colorado Voters in the Trump v. Anderson case, where the former president's name was struck off the ballot in Colorado under the usage of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment (The Insurrection Clause).

CREW represented the Colorado voters challenging Trump's eligibility for the ballot. The case had oral arguments in front of the SCOTUS last month and had an expedited opinion come out at the beginning of this month. We will be asking Mr. Sus how the expectation of the case heading to the Supreme Court influenced the early litigation.
