A Conversation with Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings
The American Constitution Society invites you to a lunchtime conversation with Kathy Jennings, the Attorney General of Delaware, on Tuesday, October 13 at 12:00 PM in Gittis 214.
As Delaware's chief law enforcement officer and top legal advisor to state government, Attorney General Jennings leads an office responsible for criminal prosecution, consumer protection, civil rights enforcement, and representing the State in significant litigation. She will share insights from her career in public service, discuss the work of a state attorney general's office, and reflect on the role state-level legal leadership plays in shaping the law and protecting the public.
This is a great opportunity for students interested in public interest law, government service, prosecution, or policy to hear directly from a leader in the field. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions about her career path, the skills and experiences that helped her along the way, and advice for law students considering careers in state government or public service. Lunch will be provided.
