Stanford Law School - When Process Eats Progress: Nicholas Bagley on "The Procedure Fetish"
Join the American Constitution Society (ACS) and Stanford Coalition for Abundance Law (SCALE) for a lunch discussion with Professor Nicholas Bagley (Michigan Law), whose 2021 Michigan Law Review article "The Procedure Fetish" argued that progressive commitments to procedural safeguards, transparency, and adversarial process have hollowed out the government's capacity to actually deliver on progressive goals. We'll discuss where that argument leads for permitting, regulatory reform, and the future of American governance. Lunch provided. Open to all SLS students.
