ACS Columbus: Ohioans for the Rule of Law

On Wednesday, July 8, at 9:00 a.m., join Ohio judges, attorneys, business leaders, and civic leaders in downtown Columbus for a bipartisan press conference celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary and reaffirming the importance of the rule of law and an independent judiciary. Organized as part of a nonpartisan tour led by Democracy Rising Collaborative (DRC) and Keep Our Republic (KOR), and coordinated in Ohio by Ohioans for the Rule of Law, the event will feature former Ohio Supreme Court justices, former Ohio attorneys general, and leaders from the Columbus business and civic communities. Following the press conference on the U.S. Courthouse lawn, attendees will walk with robed judges to the Ohio Supreme Court Building in a visible show of support for the rule of law and independent courts. The approximately 45-minute event is expected to receive national news coverage.
